On Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, EOF, Inc. held a Public Health Community Round Table. This Round Table was held to discuss health issues facing Wyandotte County, Kansas low-income.
Several topics discussed were, childhood obesity, diabetes in young children, care for pregnant women, children and adults.
Speakers for the Round Table were Mr. Joseph Conner, Health Department Director, Kansas City, Kansas, Ms. Karla Floyd, Nutritional Services Director for Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas School District - U.S.D. #500 and Ms. Staci Pratt, Homeless Liaison for Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas School District - U.S.D. #500
