EOF Receives Proclamation From Area Mayors
With May being Community Action Month, Mayors From Kansas City, Kansas and Edwardsville, Kansas Give Proclamations to Economic Opportunity Foundation, Inc.
Community Action Agencies were creaded when the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 was signed into law. For over 45 years, EOF, Inc. has continued to serve the low-income residents of Wyandotte, County Kansas.
Mayor John "Tiny" McTaggart of Edwardsville, Kansas and Mayor/CEO of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, Joe Reardon, both has proclamied the Month of May in both cities to be "Community Action Month".
